'I thought, that's a really well-conceived mentoring program. It involves a selection process for the mentorees, matching with potential mentors and development of the manuscript, but then it also involves the business side of it – getting writers ready for potential publication, for pitching to publishers, all of that.

'I was really impressed with the way the details of the program had been thought through. I'm really happy to be part of the manuscript development aspect of it, but it's also good when mentoring includes the business side of it, too.'
